As babies, we’re born perfect and happy. The older we get, the more we lose sight of the perfection and happiness deep within ourselves. We get caught in patterns of behavior and the day-to-day grind...dedication to our family and our career, mindless scrolls through technology, numbing routines. We settle for quick, temporary relief to help us along to the next day.
I was this person. I did it ALL, thinking the more I did, the happier I'd be. Rewarding career? Check. Dream home? Check. Fulfilling marriage and family? Check. Grad degree and more money? Check. I ran in circles, never pausing to prioritize my health or ponder what would make my life meaningful and...full. Not of things or accomplishments...but full of joy, love, and experience. I ran after external accomplishments to prove internally that I am worthy of love. Then, after a lot of physical and emotional work, a lot of life experience, it hit me: I still am that happy child...born with a world of possibility in front of me. EVERY. DAY.
And YOU are too.
I also watched my mother struggle with crippling mental illness, without ever being coached on gut health by the medical community. She turned to everything external...alcohol, pharmaceutical drugs, doctors...sold on the idea that she's internally broken. Her story fuels mine.

And it’s brought me to a simple truth: What you do with your body everyday directly impacts your mind. Your health directly impacts your happiness. And your happiness impacts everyone around you. Your family. Your friends. Your kids.
So here I am. And here you are. I’ve empowered countless women to optimize their own health... physical AND mental...so they SHOW UP each day deeply healthy and happy. We begin with a free 30 minute call, where we both determine if one of my programs is a good fit. I offer gut health coaching in isolation, but most clients enroll in my 90 Day Mind Body Revitalization where we dive deeper into the internal stories that have been neglected and are ready to be released.

How is working with you different than working with a registered dietician or doctor?
I work in partnership, where you're equally as empowered as I am. With my assistance, YOU become the expert on your health. We look at the WHOLE PICTURE. Mind. Body. Soul. Unfortunately, our current medical system does not offer that. When we go to a doctor, we often receive reactive care in the form of prescriptions and quick fixes, rather than proactive, holistic guidance to actually change our lives. Medical professionals operate in silos... we may have an hour with an MD, an hour with a therapist, an hour with a dietician, even an hour with a personal trainer… but our health quickly becomes fragmented and disconnected. From a biological standpoint, our bodies do not function that way. Everything is connected and when empowered, can work together, to heal, restore, and revitalize.

Wait... how does my gut health impact my mental health?
Whew this is a big one! We cover this in my programs... but the short answer is: your mind is connected to your gut through what's called the vagus nerve. Your gut contains BILLIONS of beneficial living bacteria that are your first line of defense...they send messages to the rest of your body, including your mind. The quality of these messages depends on the quality of what we ingest every day (food mainly...but also medication, alcohol, etc.). The gut also houses many of our hormones...including our happiness hormone SEROTONIN!
