I’ve been around orthodontics for as long as I can remember with my father opening Zaytoun Orthodontics in 1959. That upbringing of being around my father and watching him change lives through perfecting smiles helped guide me in figuring out what I wanted to do when I grew up, which was to be in the healthcare field. Orthodontics for over 30 years. Joining my father and sister was a thrill for me and something that sets us apart from other orthodontists.
What I reflect most and what I find to be the most rewarding part of whatI do is seeing people’s transformations, from the first time they visit us to the finished product. By the time patients leave our office, they exude a newfound self-confidence; their smiles are brighter and their mouths are healthier. What I tell our patients is the key to a successful treatment is focusing on the function of their teeth and jaw, and when you get the functioning right, the new and improved aesthetics will come with it.
I take pride in the fact that both myself and Dr. Mary Paula are Diplomats of the American Board of Orthodontics and have been for 20-plus years. It’s a distinction that’s held by only about 25% of orthodontists in the United States, and I think it shows our dedication to this field.
When should I have my child see an orthodontist?
The AAO (American Association of Orthodontists) recommends that a child should see an orthodontist by age 7. Zaytoun Orthodontics has a FREE 7&Up Kids Club for kids age 7+ where the Zaytoun doctors see them for annual growth and guidance appointments!
Does Zaytoun Orthodontics take insurance
YES! We file almost all insurance (minus Medicaid) on your behalf and make sure you get the most out of your orthodontic coverage!
How much is the difference between Invisalign and braces?
The price is basically the same. It comes down to the recommendation of the doctor on whether they recommend one over the other, but for the majority of patients, it is a preference as to which treatment that would rather go with.
What kind of technology does Zaytoun Orthodontics use?
We use a state-of-the-art 3D digital scanner to take impressions of your teeth, no more messy goopy material to take impressions! We also use the most up-to-date x-rays machines and high-end cameras for profile photos!
Are consultations and exams free?
YES! All of our consultations and exams are free of charge- always complimentary (a $350 value). We take a scan of your teeth, photos, and an x-ray before one of the award-wining Zaytoun doctors comes to review your case and present a recommendation of treatment time and the best way to reach your signature Zaytoun smile! The cost of your treatment along with financing options are presented as well during your visit!
