I am a registered dietitian nutritionist, health educator, and athlete committed to helping people lead healthier lives through nutrition and health education and awareness. I have extensive experience as a clinical and private practice dietitian and as a writer, editor and public speaker.
I have been educating consumers and professionals about nutrition for 20 years. I help guide and coach people in the areas of weight management, sports nutrition, prenatal and postnatal nutrition, pediatric/kids nutrition, cholesterol management, hypertension, diabetes management and more through my private consulting practice.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I completed my registered dietitian internship at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center and am a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
I am also a five-time NCAA All-American in Cross Country and Track, and continue to be an avid runner and yoga enthusiast.
