Having worked in the fitness/wellness field realm my entire career, I saw the need for a comprehensive wellness program dedicated to long-term success and adherence. It’s no mystery that we set fitness & health goals every year, yet most people quit before experiencing any real success. In fact 80% of people quit exercising within just 6 weeks of starting.
There’s more information & resources pertaining to health available than ever before. But we’re getting sicker & fatter. Obviously the way we approach health, specifically weight loss, is not working. While the mental component & the behavior change are often overlooked, it’s time we address the HOW and give our clients permanent success.
Our studies & research in the field of Exercise Psychology in a world-renowned graduate program & over 20 years of experience as a personal trainer combined with our passion for fitness & athletics grew The Wellness Xchange, LLC.
We work with clients from all walks of life, ranging from corporate professionals, moms, professional athletes & those completely new to exercise. We’re fully committed to their success. We connect the dots in your life so you can FIT BACK INTO YOUR LIFE. We teach you that you are the solution. It’s easy to get lost in all the “diets” & the latest exercise trends. Following “rules” eventually leads to rebellion. Diets work when every variable is fully controlled and that’s not realistic. Life happens. We measure specific variables such as energy, mood, satiety and exercise. From there, we determine what leads to your optimal day and results. You become empowered. Instead of not eating a tempting, “off-limit” food b/c you’re not allowed to, you chose to make better choices because you don’t want to feel like crap. This puts you in the position of power.
In the scope of exercise, people are going to continue to do what they enjoy. So while our sessions are challenging, we make exercise fun and efficient. In addition to personal training, we proudly offer SurfSet Fitness, exclusive to The Wellness Xchange (only fitness facility in NC). Each session at WXC is equivalent to 3-4 hours of jogging, so dramatic results unfold quickly. We break down barriers & guarantee results, not just for today, but for life.
