Sports Chiropractic is a sub-specialty that focuses on musculoskeletal conditions as it relates to sports medicine and injury. Sports Chiropractors are some of the highest trained sports medicine physicians and specialize in acute and chronic injuries of the body, including the extremities and the spine. Traditional chiropractors typically do not have this training, and focus mainly on generalized spinal pain and neurologic function. On top of traditional spinal adjustments, Sports Chiropractors typically use several different manual therapies to treat muscles, tendons, ligaments, joint, and nerve pain.
