About Us

Erin Tracy is owner of Empower Wellness, LLC and has been certified in both Medical Qi Gong Healing and Qi Gong Instruction since 2013 . She is also a Certified Holistic Health Coach and uses knowledge of both Eastern and Western approaches to empower clients to reach wellness goals with a powerful process, support, and accountability.

In her private practice (serving both Triangle area and clients all over the country), she consults and guides people who have plateaued in their progress in improving health conditions such as auto-immune, cancer treatment recovery, anxiety, and pain by informing and supporting them in how to effectively and powerfully support their immune system and build vitality back. She practices Qi Gong, Tai Chi Chu'an, and Meditation daily to keep herself strong, balanced and well.

Erin is a magna cum laude graduate of Wellesley College with a BA degree in Psychology and Education. She also holds a Master of School Administration (MSA) from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her life before empowering the healing and transformation of hundreds of clients, she was the School Director for BrightPath Education and educator and public school administrator for Wake County Public Schools. Selected as a N.C. Principal Fellow in 1996, she worked as an assistant principal until 2000.

Now, she finds so much joy in facilitating the transformation of people who have decided that it is time to end the suffering both physically and emotionally. Erin's clients and students are supported and empowered to regain their health, energy, and happiness without more medication and surgeries. Clients remember and connect to the amazing inner strength of our body and soul. Erin's work can also deeply support people who are choosing an integrated path of western medicine and intervention.

Question 1:

How do I know which service (Intensive Program Support or Qi Gong Instruction) to chose?

Answer 1:

In the free discovery session, we will discover how we can both work best together, either by using health coaching/mentoring, medical Qi Gong, Qi Gong instruction sessions – or a combination of these approaches. Not everyone is a good fit to work with me. If the timing isn't right, I will let you know that. If it is right, I will outline what I recommend to get you the results or goals you seek for you health, relationships, energy, and enjoyment.

Question 2:

Will I be asked to dramatically change my lifestyle?

Answer 2:

No. I am very sensitive to working with clients to usher in habit change and new paradigms in ways that integrate seamlessly with your life. Chances are if you have commitment to attaining better health, well-being, and more joy, you won’t find the lifestyle changes so hard. However, it is important to realize that sometimes the *right* thing to do isn’t the *easy* thing to do. Expect support from me if you encounter inner resistance as you integrate any lifestyle changes and paradigm shifts that you have chosen to embrace.

That being said, if you have an aspect of your life that is clearly not "life affirming" for your body and you express a desire to change that, I will support you in not giving up on that. You must be very clear though that you are committed to a dream of better health and a happier life more than you are committed to staying where you are.

Question 3:

Why do I even need a coach/mentor trained in Medical Qi Gong?

Answer 3:

For me and most others in the world, our own willpower isn’t enough to get through the most stuck places. Prior to learning Qi Gong and medical Qi Gong healing, I tried many different approaches, self-help books, holistic and western medicine and I got to a point I was just not improving; I had plateaued. Practicing Qi Gong daily made a huge difference in my life and issues were many were resolving for me.

However, it wasn’t until I worked with a Qi Gong healer and then a coach for a specific part of my life that I really broke through. There is something about the accountability that you just don’t get when reading through self-help books, going to yoga, and listening to meditations with Oprah (she's great by the way). All those things are great but what you accomplish when you get the junk out of the way with assistance and accountability is where the magic really happens. Coaching skills address the unconscious patterns that blocking progress and healing; medical Qi Gong healing gets to the deep unconscious blocks and brings the body into balance.

Question 4:

How are your sessions delivered?

Answer 4:

I usually only work with people who are ready and committed to transforming their lives. I offer the free consult to discover whether we are a good fit to work together. People looking for a quick fix are not my ideal clients since I am interested in guiding people to heal themselves. I will occasionally meet with people in an acute or emergency situation for a limited time.

I have found that working with people in a group is a powerful experience. In addition to group work I also offer one on one sessions to support and go deeper with what we are doing in the group. Whether done in person or via phone/video, we will check in with how things are going in your life and identify areas where you are experiencing obstacles to having the life you want. Coaching and mentoring is done around these issues. If indicated, Qi Gong healing is also utilized to move blocked or stagnant energy. In the Discovery Sessions, I am happy to demonstrate this idea of long distance Qi Gong healing if this is a new experience for you (allow about 10 extra minutes in the call). Supporting activities and practices are also assigned if pertinent.

Question 5:

What is coaching and Qi Gong healing to me?

Answer 5:

After experiencing my own deeply healing process, I have no doubt that those who really want to make a change in their lives can do it. I also know first hand that sometimes people need powerful and focused help. The ancient Chinese believed that energy runs through invisible conduits called meridians. When these conduits or pathways become blocked or sluggish, symptoms can begin to arise over time. Symptoms can be just slight, annoying pain to chronic and serious conditions the immune system isn't handling such as "autoimmune" issues and cancer.

Thousands of years ago, before acupuncture system was developed, the Chinese used Qi Gong and Qi Gong healing to stay balanced and well. In my practice, I work with people as both a health coach to both consciously uncover habits and motivating factors as well as medical Qi Gong practitioner to addressing some of the underlying blocks deep in the body that might get in the way of progress and deep healing. I know that it is my life’s calling to support others in realizing that they can be free of pain, anxiety, and chronic health challenges. They can discover contentment in their lives and ride the waves of change better than they ever thought was possible.

Deep healing is a combination of improving the physical issues in the body with actual actions (diet, lifestyle, movement, etc), building up of foundational energy (qi) and keeping it in balance, and learning how to manage the emotional density of things that are happening now in your life (stress) and those things that have happened (trauma, hurt, loss, etc).
