Answer 4: We suggest four sessions, which is laid out in the plan below. The discovery session can be booked as a separate session and can be applied to the system package if you choose.
Discovery 75 min
During discovery, we will spend time together having a conversation. The extra minutes in the session is to really get to know you, and your story. Listening is an important key to our success as a team, it really is about us working together to reach a common goal. We aim to make each session about you as a whole person and not an injury or diagnosis. This session will include movements, massage and creating a plan based on what your current needs are.
Treatment 60 min
These sessions are built off of the information we gained from discovery. You should have had approximately 2 weeks since your first session. This time allows you to take the information you gained and find out how it applies to your life. We will sit and discuss any changes you noticed physically or mentally since our first meeting. We can work using massage, and movement to build on the first session and get you closer to your goal. Treatment sessions can be added based on your needs and prior to moving into the integration phase.
Integration 60 min
The integration session will include a discussion of how the information you gained has continued to improve your life in some way. We will work together to create a customized movement practice, that you will take with you. The objective would be to use the information we discovered to allow you to live to your full potential. The plan will include simple movement tips and tricks to alleviate aches and pains and to increase your overall wellbeing. The goal is to give you enough information to allow you to care for yourself going forward.
Maintenance 60 min:
With your custom movement practice in place, the maintenance sessions can be spaced out based on how you feel, and what you need. This can be for massage therapy, movement or bodywork.
