Dr. McGetrick attended San Diego State University where she received her bachelors degree in Foods & Nutrition, she then went on to complete her dietetic internship at UCSD Medical Center and become a registered dietitian. Unimpressed with the world of hospital dietetics, she was looking for something more fulfilling when she experienced a chiropractic miracle herself. A persistent knee injury resolved after her spine was adjusted by a Gonstead chiropractor, and from that day forward, she was hooked.
Brittney went on to attend Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, California where she was the Gonstead Club president and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in school, she attended dozens of seminars to perfect her craft and is excited to serve the Nashville community with extra study hours in specific adjusting skills, pediatric chiropractic, and immunology. Brittney is also Webster certified.
When not in the office, you can find Dr. M practicing or teaching yoga, hanging out with her puppy Talus (pictured), traveling, and seeking out a perfectly grilled steak!

What is a chiropractic adjustment?
It is a small thrust applied to the body (misaligned vertebra) from the hands of a chiropractor.
Will I see results right away?
This depends on a number of things like the nature and history of the illness. Sometimes, chiropractic results may be achieved very quickly. Other times, it may take weeks to months because of changes that have occurred in the body in response to the subluxation(s).
Will my pain be relieved?
In many instances, taking pressure off the nerve is all that is needed for relief of pain.
Can children be adjusted too?
Yes! It is best to have children checked for subluxations as early as possible. This will ensure that they are fulfilling their own potential to live and grow as healthy as they can.
What is the difference between what Dr. McGetrick does and other chiropractors?
The biggest difference is the Gonstead Difference. Dr. McGetrick uses the Gonstead System of analyzing and adjusting the spine which means that she is very specific in finding your problem areas and in delivering precise adjustments.
