Hey, I’m Tilghman!
I am a Certified Health and Wellness Coach who loves all things health and wellness. Fun fact: I also love to drink beer and eat pizza! My approach to health is all about realistic changes and balance. Part of living a healthy life is to enjoy the life you’re living and have some fun along the way!
My passion is health and wellness and empowering women to live healthy and authentic lives — I have spent years learning, educating and living the style of healthy living that I coach. My approach to health is realistic and fun. You don’t have to restrict and diet to lose weight and live a healthy life, I believe it’s quite the opposite!
My own journey on the road to health hasn’t been a smooth one. My childhood years were primarily spent being overweight and sedentary which lead me to years of dieting, restricting, over-exercising, pill-popping and more. You name it, I’ve tried it. It wasn’t until I was hit with a diagnosis of PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) in my early twenties that I began really evaluating what it meant to be healthy. Guess what? I discovered being healthy didn’t mean having to constantly strive to be a size 2 in a human body that’s not destined to be that size. In fact, it was that constant struggle to be “skinny” that lead to a lot of my health issues. An additional diagnosis of Crohn’s disease in my early thirties solidified my passion to live a healthy life. My life is one that is free of prescriptions, full of good food, exercise, healthy relationships and puppy kisses (did I mention my love of dogs?)
My health journey has motivated me to help others who are struggling to find a balance with their own health. I am driven to help people find their true path, step outside of their comfort zone and take the leap into adding behaviors that will culminate into a healthier and more authentic life. You don't have to "diet" to find true health and I can assist you in finding your own path to your healthy life.
When I’m not coaching clients, you can most likely find me with my husband, Jonathan, and our dog, Warner, (again with the dogs!). Wave at us while we run in the park or stop me and say “hello” when you see me shopping at Whole Foods. I will gladly stop to give a hug, smile and probably a funny face or awkward dance move!

What is Health Coaching?
My health coaching programs help you to become your best self! If you feel like you may need to lose some weight, increase your energy or just feel better in your skin, then health coaching may just be for you. My coaching looks at all aspects of your life, not just what you eat, to determine how to get you on the right path to feeling your best. Together, we will work to implement small daily changes that will add up to big results.
What do you do?
Think of a coach you may have had growing up playing sports. They were there to guide you — teach you how to throw, jump, pass, etc. They were there to hold you accountable — if you didn’t show up on time, you had to run laps. And, they were there to cheer you on — score a goal, get a fist pump and pat on the back. Well, that’s what I do too, just with a focus around your health and wellbeing. I am here to guide you — what are healthy behaviors and how do we best create changes to achieve them. I am here to hold you accountable — are you sticking to our action plan and the goals we set each week? And I am here to be your cheerleader — celebrate all your wins and reframe “losses”. Together, we will create a healthier version of you that fits within your life, not that of someone else.
How does your program work?
I’m not going to throw a book at you and wish you good luck. How many times have we tried something like a diet plan on our own and failed? My hand is raised, is yours? Together, we will set goals based on you and what you want to achieve, build a game plan to achieve them and pivot when necessary. With weekly one-on-one meetings, educational tools and health tracking, we will realistically make changes, add good and healthy behaviors into your life and knock your goals out of the park! There is no magic wand (man, don’t we sometimes wish there was?) but together we can make a pretty unbeatable team that almost feels like magic. My 1:1 Coaching Program is a 10 week program. We work to slowly add healthy changes into your life to become true lifestyle changes, not just a quick fix. I want you to leave the program with new tricks, tools and behaviors the culminate into permanent and healthy living.

Where do you have your client meetings?
For individuals located in the Nashville area, I have a home office where we can meet. Otherwise, I hold my meetings via Zoom conferencing.
